The Project Espoir Tai was established in June 2007 to perform information campaigns about hygiene, alimentation, health care and diseases in the rural zone of Tai in Ivory Coast.

Due to the political situation in Ivory Coast,  Nadin Eckhardt suggest that a bank account in the country is not secure enough, because the project money could suddenly be blocked by the state during strike or civil riots. To avoid this Espoir Tai is cooperating with the German NGO NEIA e.V. who provides a secure bank account in Germany. Contemporary the money is transfered to Espoir Tai.
